Eid Al-Fitr is Thursday, May 13
After monitoring the moon sighting reports from around the world and locally, we have not received any reports of a sighting of the new moon of Shawwaal. It is cloudy along the east coast. Therefore, we will be completing the month of Ramadan as 30 days. The first of Shawwaal will be Thursday, May 13th.
Women and children are welcome to attend. We will be holding Salat Al-Eid at the Masjid according to the following safety guidelines:
• Must have a face mask/covering
• Must bring a personal prayer rug
• People not feeling well must refrain from coming to the Masjid
• Keep 6 feet apart when sitting during the Eid Khutbah
The Eid prayer will start at 8:30 a.m. sharp.
